本片以倒叙手法回顾Houdini传奇的一生从他幼时在纽约的贫苦生活（他当时名为“艾瑞克威斯”）到他成为国际知名的魔术大师，他以向死亡挑战的惊险脱逃术让世人不由得屡次惊叹。。A troupe of struggling stage actors is rehearsing for a small-town production of a play. Everything seems to be as it should until one of the cast members turns up dead. In a panic, the others try to get out, only to find they are now locked in the theater with the killer! Which one of them committed the murder, and who will get out alive?。
