Maria and her friends are only able to c...。八年未回家的游子二喜（赵毅 饰）因惦念中学时暗恋的艳秋（肖辉 饰），终于重返家乡。回家后他没感受到久别重逢的天伦之乐，等待他的是父亲（彭乙 饰）的叹息和兄长的责骂，母亲己经去世一年了，他没尽到半点孝心。家里的气氛实在让二喜待不下去，在和全家人照了一张合影后，他开车推销他的“南洋香草”去了。令二喜想不到的是“南洋香草”让他日进斗金，老板洪哥（柴鸿顺 饰）也早抛到了脑后，满脑子都是艳秋的影子。在文化馆涌动的舞池中看到艳秋时，她早忘了二喜是谁，待二喜表明身份后，艳秋从他身上看到了发达的迹象。此时的艳秋已被丈夫抛弃，独自带孩子度日，没办法当了男人们的有偿舞伴。二喜能接受她的过往吗......。
