大明国体昌盛却礼教严苛，女子地位低下，不得从医。谭家为医学世家，祖上几代均为御医，因被奸人所陷害而遭遇灭顶之灾，从此留下祖训，后世不得行医。但聪慧的谭允贤从小耳濡目染，偷偷随祖母学习中医知识，悬壶济世。开创并建立了女医制度，从救人身体到救人灵魂，再由救人到救国，传播弘扬了祖国医学文化，最终成为了一代女国医，名扬天下。。小喜（金喜善 饰）的父亲早逝，然而，这么多年过去了，善良单纯的小喜却一直相信着，父亲其实是去了火星，因此，每当想念父亲之时，小喜都会写下寄往火星的信件，而回信的责任，便落在了小喜的青梅竹马胜在（申河均 饰）的肩头。 之后，小喜离开了家乡外出闯荡，并且邂逅了本以为是一生挚爱的男子，可是，残酷的生活带给小喜的却只有失去和伤痛，这让小喜猛然醒悟，发现原来最爱的人其实是一直对自己不离不弃默默陪伴的胜在。怀揣着一颗伤痕累累的心，小喜终于在离家十七年之后重新回到了故乡，然而，这一次胜在却没有等他，因为他已经离开了人世，前往了那个名叫“火星”的地方。。Disarmingly realistic in its depiction of the realities of frontier life, Heartland is a strong antidote to the cliches of traditional Westerns. This semi-documentary slice of life is based on the diaries of Elmore Randall Stewart about her days on the Wyoming frontier in the early 20th century. It's a strongly feminist statement about a woman raising her small daughter alone and scrapping for a living by working for a shy Scottish rancher. Director Richard Pearce brings an endearing touch to a film that is helped greatly by the dazzling cinematography of Fred Murphy. Conchata Ferrell and Rip Torn star in this small film that substitutes veracity for a high-powered plot. Pearce worked as a cinematographer on Woodstock and other documentaries before making his directorial debut. Winner of the 1980 Berlin Golden Bear at the Berlin Film Festival。
