寄母山镇侯家台村是个贫困村，在此次的贫困户评选中村民侯志泉、李秀莲等被选为贫困户，侯志泉因为自己是个残疾人，一直很自卑，这次被列为贫困户怕被人瞧不起，不愿意当贫困户，去找书记侯志勇理论。 吴玉娥的丈夫年前因酒后开三轮车拉庄稼翻入山沟死亡，22岁的儿子文岳正在读大学。侯志泉经常偷偷帮助她，侯志勇请吴玉娥帮忙说服侯志泉遭到拒绝。晚上偷偷到侯志泉家给侯志泉留了一封鼓励信，侯志泉欣喜，决定接受贫困户的决定并找到侯志勇讨论扶贫项目，通过种植葫芦、葫芦烙画发家致富，成功脱贫。。I Saw the Sun (Güneşi Gördüm) is a Turkish film by Mahsun Kırmızıgül.
