七集的《异形：隔离》是一部网络剧，也是史上第一部设定在《异形》世界中的数字剧集。剧情源于2014年的同名游戏，事实上大部分内容都是游戏过场动画转过来的（还有一部分是重制的和全新的），只不过给人新的体验、新的视角，也丰富了Amanda Ripley故事的层次。 故事设定在深空运输机「诺斯托罗莫」（Nostromo）及其船员失踪15年后。Ellen Ripley的女儿Amanda Ripley一直没有放弃寻找母亲的希望，凡有任何消息都一查到底。魏兰德-尤坦尼（Weyland-Yutani）公司的代表主动接触Amanda，声称他们终于发现了「诺斯托罗莫」号的飞行记录仪……在太空站「塞瓦斯托波尔」（Sevastopol）上。Amanda立即决定参与他们的探索任务。但是在抵达该太空站后，Amanda意识到自己进入了一个人间地狱，一个神秘的怪物四处追猎太空站上...。Tom Cathcart在消防队工作了25年，退休之后，他希望和爱妻开心地度过退休时光。为此他绞尽脑汁，千方百计把奇懒无比、赖在家里不愿独立生活的20多岁的儿子赶出家门。。When Manuel Ortigosa, a famous Parisian writer, learns of the death of his husband Aymeric in a car accident, he is totally devastated.
