《人面鱼：红衣小女孩外传》改编自台湾乡野传说“人面鱼“，1990年代有人在高雄县冈山镇（今高雄市冈山区）出游钓起一尾吴郭鱼（罗非鱼），烧烤食用时却听到诡异的声音询问：“鱼肉好吃否？”之后其拍摄的照片鱼的上头还浮现人脸，令当事人毛骨悚然，不过事件本身有诸多疑点被认为是无根据的谣传。。After surviving an IED explosion in combat overseas, a young soldier with the Army Motorcycle Unit is medically discharged with a broken back and leg. Against all odds he trains to make an impossible comeback as a motocross racer in order to support his family.。2012年12月20日に発売されるコミックス第16巻プレミアムアニメDVD付き限定版に収録予定（約20分）。内容は「ロマンチカ」編、「エゴイスト」編、「テロリスト」編の3本立て。。
