该剧以北海道郊区新设的儿童重症监护室（PICU＝Pediatric Intensive Care Unit）为舞台，当地由于地域广阔难以提供及时的医疗服务，医生们努力创建可以尽快救治患者的设施。吉泽亮饰演有些笨拙不成熟的年轻儿科医生志子田武四郎，他一直与母亲一起生活，与PICU医生植野元（安田显）相遇改变了他的人生。。天才篮球少年宋尘高中获保送国家队资格，不料入学前夕，母亲江挽云偏爱的养子箫景逸，为抢夺名额找人将他殴打致残。母亲不仅不维护，还故意拖延治疗，让宋尘落下残疾。躺在病床上的宋尘，得知真相后，悲痛得几乎崩溃。。SYNOPSIS Urgently called, the police inspector has arrived in a hotel, and didn't find any crime, but noticed some strangenesses occurring there. (Strugatsky Brothers website) NOTES This is a crime / mystery thriller with surreal and psychedelic science fiction overtones based on a book Inspector Glebsky's Puzzle by the Strugatsky brothers. The screenplay was also written by the brothers and it differs from the book. The less you know about the movie the better starting point you have. The film is based largely on the mystery of what's happening to the people of Dead Mountaineer's Hotel. Is everything what it seems? Who's dead or who's not?。
