Season3のテーマは「誘拐事件×都知事選」だ。町田扮する暴行事件の冤罪をかけられた元新聞記者・渡辺達哉が、東京を変えるために都知事選挙への立候補を決意する中、東京湾の埋め立て事業を極秘裏に進める大手建設会社の社長令嬢が誘拐される事件が発生。拳一は達哉の選挙運動と人質解放を両立させる秘策を考え出す。。A disgraced journalist returns to Dirty Neck, his Florida hometown, to become a local hero with the knack of reporting lurid stories of "stupid people doing stupid things", much to the chagrin of the town's controlling and shifty mayor.。
