1942年，抗战进入相持阶段，八路军武工队的对敌斗争也进入最艰难的时期。以王亮为队长的精锐武工队活跃在日军华北占领区军事重镇保定一带，不畏生死出入保定，与日军少壮战神坂本一郎展开明争暗斗。坂本一郎少佐为人阴险毒辣，凶狠彪悍，担任日军驻保定特战队队长，专事负责保定城内治安，除手下直属的几百特战队员外，还有权调动保定数千日军。坂本一郎带领的特战队与王亮带领的武工队多次交手，在坂本一郎心中王亮和武工队是他的终极敌手，坂本一郎时刻搜寻武工队的任何一点蛛丝马迹，目的就是要一举荡平武工队扬名立万，并等待与王亮的终极生死对决。。John Kent (Randolph Scott), a former star football player at Harvard, goes to Paris with his friend Huck Haines (Fred Astaire) and the latter's dance band, the Wabash Indianians.
