1965年荷蘭阿納姆電影節大獎史高林莫斯基含自傳成份的第一部片，描寫一個不滿現狀的青年(史高林莫斯基親自扮演)在半天裡的心路歷程。安德烈要在短短數小時內決定參加為期兩年的兵役，抑或繼續學業和面對現實的社會？安德烈一直將他的身份與背景隱藏，不想向任何人揭露，就算同居女友泰蕾莎對他亦一無所知。安德烈與泰蕾莎之間的隔閡，正好暗示兩人之間面臨決裂。雖然安德烈答應接見他的軍官會依時報到，但冷靜下來時卻盤算有沒有其他值得留下的理由。即使有太多的失望與挫折：與泰蕾莎的愛情生活不如意，愛犬又因染上瘋狗症而被人道毀滅，安德烈並沒有準備離去的跡象，只是努力地找尋留下來的藉口。當安德烈不斷與他的朋友碰面，時間逐漸消逝，他亦不斷進行自我的鬥爭。影片發展下去，這個像夢境一般的旅程，漸漸演變成找尋自我的心路歷程。史高林莫斯基的電影皆以年青人面對的社會問題為中心，對心態的刻劃十...。‘What would you do for your worst enemy?’ Chimo and El Rubio: two teenagers from a run-down neighborhood, victim and executioner, bullied and bully, whose lives are marked by enmity and resentment.
